This Privacy Policy describes how Suuper ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, dashboard, and embeddable AI support chat widget (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

Account information

• Name, email address, and password (or Google OAuth identifier) when you sign up.
• Profile details and avatar image you choose to upload.
• Billing details processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).

Content you submit

• Knowledgebase entries, files, URLs, and widget configuration you create.
• Chat transcripts between end-visitors and your AI bot, including the visitor's anonymous identifier and messages.

Automatically collected

• Log data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps.
• Cookies and session storage used to keep you signed in and to track chat sessions.

2. How we use information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To generate AI responses using the knowledgebase you provide.
• To process payments and send transactional emails.
• To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
• To communicate with you about product updates (you can opt out of marketing email).

3. Sharing and subprocessors

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with vetted subprocessors that help us run the Service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Lovable AI Gateway (Google Gemini) — large language model inference for chat responses.
• Paddle — payment processing and tax compliance.
• Email delivery and analytics providers used for operational purposes.

4. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Chat transcripts and knowledgebase content remain until you delete them or close your account. When you delete your account, we erase your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/UK, California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email privacy@suuper.app to exercise these rights.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest for managed databases, and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the dashboard or email.
